HISTORY
EMPOWERING WOMEN FROM THE VERY BEGINNING.
Women Who Brunch Society, founders Malaynie Aquino and Janice Bailey recognized a need for a supportive community dedicated to empowering women in business. Both passionate about leadership, personal development, and financial literacy, Malaynie and Janice set out to create a space where women entrepreneurs and aspiring business leaders could connect, grow, and thrive together.
Having witnessed the challenges many women face in the entrepreneurial world, they wanted to build something more impactful than just another networking group. They envisioned a society that would offer continuous support, mentorship, and development opportunities, designed to help women build the confidence and skills needed for success.
By combining their expertise and collaborating with other inspiring women in business, Malaynie and Janice created a program that focuses on leadership, financial empowerment, and personal growth—ensuring that every member feels supported and empowered as they work toward their goals.
THE FIRST EMPOWERING GATHERING AT THE BARBIE CAFE POP UP SHOP MIAMI,WYNNWOOD
In February 2024, Women Who Brunch Society kicked off its first event at the iconic Barbie Café in Miami. With just 30 members, the gathering was filled with empowering speakers, exciting workshops, and valuable connections. The buzz quickly spread, and what started as a small brunch became a must-attend event for women ready to grow, succeed, and make an impact. Women Who Brunch Society rapidly grew into the ultimate network for ambitious women ready to transform their futures.

As we continue to grow, we’re committed to supporting our members with leadership development, financial literacy, and personal growth opportunities. With plans to expand our programming, digital resources, and events, WWBS is building a community where women can come together to learn, grow, and succeed.
Each year, we also host exciting raffles to fund unique opportunities for our members to further their dreams and entrepreneurial goals.
